electricity was not invented it was discovered. electricity was known of but not fully understood since ancient times. no individual can be said to have discovered electricity as such but in 1600 the English physician William Gilbert made a study of electricity and later people added to this understanding. such people include Benjamin Franklin, luigi galvani, alessandro volta, Michael farady, georg ohm, nikola tesla and so on. as for somthing interesting about electricity there are so many things; electricity is used in the body to regulate the heart. electricity and magnetism are intermately linked electromagnetism is what holds atoms together without electromagnetism there would be no light

Michael faraday Michael faraday Michael faraday volta
He did not discover electricity. He invented the first battery, called the 'Voltaic Pile' after reading Luigi Galvani's findings on 'animal electricity' and following it with some studies of his own.

No one invented electricity. It's a natural phenomenon. Many have studied and described its nature, however; Ben Franklin, Andre Ampere, Charles Coulomb, Michael Faraday, Alessandro Volta, George Simon Ohm, and many, many more.

You'd be going back to early experimenters such as Faraday, Volta, and so on.
