Some of the famous people in the 1960s were Marilyn Monroe, who was an actress, John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in the 60's (shot dead) ,and there was also some of the famous bands such as the Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Sonny and Cher, and many more. Martin Luther King Jr., Neil Armstrong, General William Westmoreland, Nikita Kruschev, and lots more that you can find on the internet. Also Elvis Presley was…
1960s. They may have practised while at school in the 1950s but they were not playing as this band until the 1960s and they played throughout the whole decade of the 1960s. Their first "number one record hit" was in 1962 I think, with "Love Me Do", which made them world famous. Before this they were playing in small clubs in the UK, mainly in Liverpool, and in Germany.
In the 1960s, people actually became musicians because they were talented and wanted to share that with the world. They created quality songs that had meaning. Now, people pretty much only become singers to get famous. Even if they can't sing at all, there's always autotune, right? So, basically, 60s = good, now = suckish. Go bias!
