'How many people died in the Auschwitz gas chambers' was the original question and the answer is apporx 1,500,000. It is not the same as the current question - to which the answer is 'not all identities are known' and to list the known names would be a list of over a million and not practical. I suggest a visit to various Holocaust memorial web site.
Gas chambers were not used until later in the Holocaust. When Germany began to occupy more and more territory especially in eastern and south-eastern Europe there was not enough room in the camps for all of the Jewish population coming from these territories. basically Jewish people were the only ones put into the gas chambers however, I am certain there were exceptions to this like most situations. Most of the prisoners were Jews, but not everyone died for that reason.
Mostly, Polish Jews.
