The Havana's Ladies were a group of Cuban Women that collected money from villagers to be sent to Gen. Washington. This money was 800,00 silver pounds, equivalent to todays $28 million. Their story is little known but vastly important to the American Revolution's victory.
The Havana Ladies were people in Spain who helped the Americans win the Revoultionary War by giving them 7 milllion dollars.
