The primary flight crew of a "regular" aircraft consisted of the pilot, co-pilot, navigator, bow turret gunner, two upper deck turret gunners, two waist blister gunners, tail turret gunner, and the radioman/radar operator. At times, the crew was extended to as many as 13 with an enlisted bombardier, a crew chief, and an extra equipment operator.
