Who were the children fleeing from and why in invisible children?

"Invisible Children" is a term used to describe the Ugandan children affected by the 20-year civil war in Uganda. The war has separated families, displaced millions of families from their original homes, and also have been the result of thousands of deaths. These children are fleeing from a group who calls themselves the LRA, led by a man named Joseph Kony, who abducts these children and uses them as child soldiers. The LRA is also known to use rape as a schematic weapon against the female children. The reason the term "invisible" is used to describe these children is because this has been named the biggest humanitarian crisis since the Holocaust, yet it is fairly unheard off and there has been a bill passed not too long ago to stop the LRA and find Joseph Kony from all of his wrong doings.
