The conspirators against Caesar were a group of prominent Roman politicians and senators. They feared Caesar would use his high levels of popularity to have himself declared king and to destroy the Roman Republic. They thought that Caesar was likely to rule as a tyrant, and they wanted to preserve the power of the Senatorial class.
The conspirators killed Caesar on 15 March 44 BC by stabbing him repeatedly on the steps to the Roman Forum.
There were supposedly 40 Senators who plotted to kill Caesar. Some of their names were:
* Marcus Junius Brutus (Caesar's close friend and possible illegitimate son; according to some historians Caesar cried out "You too, my child!" when he was attacked by Brutus) * Gaius Cassius Longinus * Servius Sulpicius Galba * Servilius Casca.
The conspirators against Caesar were senators and nobles of Rome, including Brutus and Cassius. They believed that Caesar's increasing power and ambitions posed a threat to the Roman Republic. They feared that he would become a tyrant and diminish the power of the Senate, so they conspired to eliminate him to protect the Republic's traditional governmental structure.
The conspirators in Julius Caesar want to drive out the commoners from the street because they plan on assassinating Caesar and they do not want the commoners to witness the murder. They believe that Caesar's popularity with the people could potentially turn them against the conspirators, so they aim to eliminate any potential risk by clearing the streets.
He couldn't turn back because the conspirators would not be able to go on without him & Brutus did not want that, he was afraid of a Rome with tyranny & did not want Caesar to make this into what Rome would become. If Brutus were to back out he could be turned in for betrayal against Caesar even if it was short lived.
the conspirators don't want Ceasar to rule because they think his health is not suitable to rule. (He cannot swim and has spasm attacks) and they think he will become overwhelmed with power. Hope this helped!!
The conspirators want Cicero to join the conspiracy becasue it will be more convincing once he lures Caesar to see the Senate the day he's assinated.
When Mark Antony got to know that the conspirators killed Caesar, he was enraged because he was very close to Caesar. But there were other reasons for him wanting revenge besides Caesar's death. Cicero, a sympathizer with the conspirators, attacked him viciously and Cicero was also responsible for the death of Antony's stepfather.

because it felt like it brutus was a close friend to caesar, and could provide valuble information and incite on caesar. he was also a high official, and easily coruptable
Antony is mentally and emotionally shaken by Caesar's murder by the conspirators because he is very close to him. He can't leave without Caesar. He find it the best place and time to die with Caesar. So he offers himself to be killed by the conspirators at that place and time. He sees that it is useless to remain alive after his death as he is very near to him. So he says so as it would attain glory to be dead by Caesar's side.
Mark Antony was one of the most important supporters of Julius Caesar and a relative of his.
(Apex) That Caesar didn't deserve to be murdered.
