The first group of people targeted in World War 2 were the German Jew's and the Polish. Hitler hated the Jews, and there are many speculations why he hated them. But the strongest reason i believe there to be is his religion. Hitler became an occultist after reading a work by Alfred Rosenberg's called "The myth of twentieth century". In this book Alfred explained everything about the myth of the Aryan race and how the Jew's helped to defeat the Aryans and bring them down from their rightful place as gods of the Earth. Hitler believed everything he read to the letter and he believed it was his duty to try and restore the Aryans to their rightful place and to accomplish this he needed to end waht he thought was the "Foul rein of the Jew's". So after he gained power he started his proccess to remove the Jew's from Germany. While he did this he planned a attack on Poland because their Jewish population was on of the biggiest in Europe.

Targeting a specific segment helps researchers analyze trends, patterns, and potential correlations more effectively.
