∙ 14y agoThe earliest known and recorded peoples to live in Germany were of multiple tribes: Rhinelanders, Palatinans, Hessians, Lower Saxons, Westralians, Cherusci, Angles, Saxons, Frisians, Franks, and a few others that are too difficult to read from this old manuscript. This was about 2000BCE. Of course over time these tribes grew and shrunk and mixed and bred and divided and carried on in all sorts of manner. Over the next millennia they gradually allied themselves with each other. Men were rugged, cheerful and easygoing and women folk were possessed of great beauty. They worshipped nature and worked with the land, giving back as much as they took forth. Then in 911AD what is described as the first German Reich began and slowly, ever so slowly, a united Germany rose to become a European Power that began to rival the Romans.
