The Liberty Boys met at Tondee's tavern. The Liberty Boys were Georgians who came together to oppose the Stamp Act. The Liberty Boys were apart of a larger group, the Sons of Liberty. Tondee's tavern was owned by Peter Tondee, and was burnt, along with the rest of the town, in 1786.
