Some people think that Benedict Arnold is important because he was a traitor in the American Revolutionary War. He was first a great general for the American soldiers but then things all of sudden changed and he went over to be a British Soldier because he thought that the American soldiers would lose against the British. The british were taught to stand in line and ditch it out in the open while Americans hid inside bushes and sniped at their leasure. This was a major tatic flaw on the british's part, of course some british units did hide and some American units did ditch it out in the open but the general trend was the british in the open dying from the Americans in the bush
