Who will live on earth after everyone is gone to heaven or hell?

The Bible speaks of 3 heavens and 3 hells with the most common understanding of Paradise or the Throne of God as being the 3rd and highest heaven, while the most common word translated hell is 'sheol' in the Hebrew and 'hades' in the Greek. Both simply mean the grave or pit - common end for all living things.
With this in mind, Peter tells of the now 'old' Earth and heavens (sky where birds fly and 'space' or the 1st and 2nd heavens) will be purged clean:
The Day of the Lord10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of personsought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?Concerning the newly purged planet Earth, most are very surprised by what the Scripture actually says:

well in a religious term you'll go to heaven if your good for your religion (and go to the hells of all other religions) and go to hell if your bad. but in my term everyone goes to hell as heaven has to be heaven for everyone, and people just can't get along. Where is Hell exactly?
Hell is not a place so much as a state of being. As such, it doesn't have a physical three dimensional location on a map, such as we would have while on earth. Heaven is the state of eternal blessedness with God, the state of seeing God as He is and being with Him. Hell, on the other hand, is the self-determined state of eternal exclusion from heaven, eternal frustration, eternal pain and suffering, eternal unfulfillment. Heaven and Hell will have a "location" at the end of time when we get our bodies back, until that time, or more specifically, before time ceases to be, everyone in hell is a pure spirit: the bad angels (the devil and other demons) and the damned souls who have rejected God on earth.
