Is the novel Point Blanc from the Alex Rider series going to become a movie?

Probably not, as the first movie (Stormbreaker) was a total flop: they spend $40 million making it and made about $23 million out of it. That's not a result those companies like, I guess. Also, Anthony Horowitz (the author of the series) said that 'the movie was a mistake, as the story does not translate well to the big screen'.
So it seems very unlikely there will ever be another Alex Rider-movie, although miracles still exist (so they say).

∙ 14y agothere was a rumour that Antony Horowitz wrote the script there will be a movie of point blank but the script thing is probably a rumour .if there is one it will eventually end up on the internet. but its if they have enough money to make i mean look at bond 23 but it will be released as operation point blanc in 2012
