I'm guessing you are talking about the illiterate Capulet servant in Romeo and Juliet. He says in Act 1 Scene 2, "If you be not of the house of Montagues, I pray, come and crush a cup of wine."
He cant read.
The servant is given a list of the people he is to invite to the party. Unfortunately he cannot read. He therefore asks Romeo to read the list to him. Thus Romeo finds out that Rosaline is going to be invited to the party.
He was illiterate and so could not read the guest list and did not know who to invite to the party.
The servant cannot read and therefore is unable to invite the guests he is supposed to invite. The servant then bumps (not literally) into Romeo and asks him if he can read in which Romeo replies, "Yes." So that is in short form, why the servant asked Romeo to read the list of guests who were invited to the Capulets' party.
From whoevers party it is. P.S. it wont be very kind to go up and ask them for a invite.
maby she is not your friend and uses you becase she like your stuff
In Act I Scene ii of Romeo and Juliet, Capulet gives his servant a list of the people he wants to invite to the party, ordering him to ask all of those people to come. Unfortunately the servant is illiterate.
His problem is that Capulet told him to invite the people whose names were written on a piece of paper to a party, and he cannot read.
yes i will invite him to my party
The servant walks up to Romeo and Benvolio because he has a list of the names of people to invite to the Capulet party, but the servant can't read, so he asks Romeo and Benvolio if they can read, and if they can to read him the names.
If she really is your best friend invite her to your party maybe she had a party with one friend and it was a girl she knew you wouldn't enjoy! just invite her and see how it goes!
No, it's rude to invite a guest to the Engagement Party when you have no intention of asking them to the wedding. If the guest has a reason they can't make the wedding then it's just fine to invite them to the Engagement Party.
