They fought to give the Bengalis their land, it was Pakistan's war against Bangladesh but the Indian troops joined in to help so it was a clear indian victory. Therefore India has won a war against Pakistan. But Pakistan has never won. But if you look at kargil war, you will e India lost 526 soldiers while Pakistanis lost 4567 soldiers. And Pakistanis surrendered to the Indian forces. So India has won 2 wars with Pakistan but Pakistan has never won any, even though it has a strong millitary.
