Bellatrix Lestrange, hands down. She would just use all of the devastating dark arts spells that McGonagall would refuse to use
Personally I Disagree with that I think McGonagall would win due to her sheer skill and loathing for Bellatrix just because dark magic is used doesn't mean it is going to win, proven in deathly hallows when Harry defeats voldermort without using an unforgivable curse.
I don't know, however McGonagall might deside to use an Unforgivable as we know Harry does multiply occasions in DH and once in OotP.
Minerva McGongall because Snape is dead. That cannot be said. both are very good.
They wouldn't fight each other - they are on the same side.
In what would have been Harry Potter's seventh year the headmaster was Severus Snape. It is unknown who became headmaster after that. Possibly Minerva McGongall for a few years before she retired.
at the end of the book meaniing after the battle of Hogwarts, the headmistress would be Minerva McGonagall __________________________________________________________________ Okay but then who is the deputy??
McGonagall would most likely win.
In the Deathly Hallows, Severus Snape is Hogwarts headmaster. For the rest of the series it was Albus Dumbledore, and it is widely accepted that, after, Snape's death and the end of the War, Minerva McGonagall becomes headmistress in Snape's place.
I don't know but I would love to find out....
Severus Snape knew that Remus Lupin was keeping a secret and he was trying despreately to figure it out. Sirius Black thought it would be funny to help Snape and told him how to get past the Whomping Willow. Had James Potter not stopped Snape, Remus who had just transformed into a werewolf, would have killed him.
That would probably be when Severus Snape carries out his task.
The same as Harry Potter's or Severus Snape's.
Gryffindor: Professer McGonagall Hufflepuff: Professer Sprout Ravenclaw: Professer Flitwick Slytherin: 1-6 Professer Snape 7 Professer Slughorn ( He was head of house for Slytherin in the 6th book in the few hours after Snape left the castle).
That would probably be when Severus Snape carries out his task.
Nagini killed him, under Voldemort's orders. He was killed because Voldemort thought that Snape was the master of the Elder wand, and by killing him, he would be the master; however, this was not the case.
That's kind of obvious considering one the most powerful dark wizard of all time and one is the deputy headmistress. Dumbledore was the only one Voldemort ever feared, McGonagall wouldn't stand a chance.I agree that Voldemort would defeat McGonagall, but i disagree on the "wouldn't stand a chance against him." McGonagall is an extremely powerful witch and i think it would be difficult for voldemort to kill her, as she is capable of putting up a good fight against him. As shown in the deathly hallows Voldemort was unable to defeat McGonagall kingsley and slughorn, But the three weren't able to defeat Voldemort either.
