Batman can beat spiderman because of his utility belt. Spiderman has no real powers but neither does Batman. Spiderman can run out of webs and he would have nothing or Batman could break his machine.

Since batman is a master in martial arts i thinks hes the better fighter. Allthough spiderman is more likely to win a fight considering that he hits and runs harder and faster and not to mention he con sling spider silk out th bottom of his wrist. So the answer is batman because he has off the charts fighting skills, but spiderman is slightly better infights do to his super human powers and intelegendce. Where as Batman has intelegence skill of martial arts, but just because batman is great when it comes to fighting doesn't meann that he can beat spiderman. As a matter of fact i think spiderman could beat batman, in a battle between them two of course. Many martial arts focus on redirecting strength, of using the opponent's strength against them, etc. This would largely nutralise Spiderman's strength advantage.Batman has focused much of his style and fighting ability on misdirection. He uses the lighting of the environment to his best advantage, the shadows to mask his movements. He uses his own cloak to misdirect and confuse. Speed, while a good advantage, is useless if you don't know where a strike is coming from.
