Who would win a fight between Paddington Bear and Pooh Bear?

Paddington is naive, innocent but friendly. He is reasonably responsible and competent and is more worldly-wise than one may initially suspect.

Pooh's IQ is in the mid double digits and it is incredible that he manages to remember to breathe half the time.

Paddington's two weaknesses are marmalade and marmite Sandwiches (not at the same time). Pooh's weaknesses are honey and stupidity.

If cornered Pooh would cry and hope that Christopher Robin came to help him or he simply wouldn't realise that he is being threatened.

If cornered Paddington would recognise the threat and would take steps to rise to the threat. He may be a high functioning dyspraxic but he would at least know what to do and would make some attempt to defend himself.

Pooh's only chance of winning in any fight would come from:

1. Smothering someone to death with his immense bulk
2. Being too stupid to realise he is dead.

Paddington on the other hand would at least fight and know to run away to find help.

If they were forced to fight on pain of death only Paddington would understand the predicament and only he would rise to the occasion and win.
