NO! England as well as all the other countries involved at Dunkirk i.e. Scotland,N.Ireland and Wales among others were forced to retreat when faced with overwhelming numbers. In reality, England alone did not win any decisive battles of WW2,each battle was won by a combination of nations, (including "The Battle of Britain") with pilots from nations such as Poland, France, Scotland, etc.

There was no Battle of Stirling. You may be thinking of the Battle of Stirling Bridge which the Scots won on the 11th September 1297 under the command of William Wallce.
It is contested annually by the national teams of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, Ireland in 2009 were the latest to win the competition
