According to my Haynes manual, the firing order is 1-3-4-2 . If 1.8L w/ dis cap, #1 is @ 9 oclock,#3 @ 6 oclock,#4 @ 3 oclock, then #2 @ 12. I 1.9 or 2L firing order still the same, but #1 position is front right on the ignition coil pack.
