Sarah Palin John McCain's running mate is Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Palin thinks so little of America's perfection that she continues to "pal around" with a man--her husband, actually--who only recently ended his seven-year registration as a card carrying member of the Alaskan Independence Party (AIP).
AIP founding father Joe Vogler writes "I'm an Alaskan, not an American, I've got no use for America or her damned institutions."
Members of the AIP are urged to register as members of, and infiltrate the major political parties to achieve their aims to rebel against America and put Alaska First.
They appealed to the United Nations and claimed it was a violation of international law for Alaska to become an American State.
Putting plunder above patriotism, the members of this traitorous political party aim to break America into pieces and walk away with Alaska's rich federal oil fields. They claim to be the third largest political party in Alaska.
Todd and Sarah Palin attended several AIP conventions. Palin gave a speech earlier this year to the AIP convention, praising the good work being done by the AIP.
John McCain chose Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska as his running mate.

Today is Nov. 6, 2008 - NO Yes. John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his VP running mate on August 29, 2008.
i would pick obama because he is a good man and i wouldent know why any body would say no to obama if i were to ever meet him i would make him cookies thank u obama for what u have done. BY ISABEL
According to John McCain, no. According to others, you may take your pick of opinions, from Christian Conservative conspiracies making him do it to the outright crude suggestions that he picked her freely, but based upon her obvious attractiveness. Perhaps better would be to ask if Parties ever do force their candidates to pick certain running mates. The answer would be "yes" and "no". Obviously pressure may be brought to bear, and it may well have been in the case of John McCain picking Sarah Palin. The Party may well of thought that given a black Democratic candidate, that they needed some kind of minority. On the other hand, ultimately, the choice was the candidate's. And McCain is savvy and experienced enough not to bow to pressure to take on a running mate that he thought would tank his chances. After all, if he didn't think she'd be of help, why not then just say "no" to his party? He'd be better off not running, then to run and lose. Logic suggests then that even if the Party strongly hinted, that McCain himself freely chose Palin.
Usually to Pick a new president is In 4 YEARS. The Month i honestly do not know. You can google it !
No it was the other way around It depends on pick for what. If it was for vice president, then no. There were no running mates at that point. Electoral college vote only, first become president, second vice president. As far as Adams picking Washington, he did nominate him to be the Commander in Chief of the Continental Army 14 years prior.
Iraq. McCain has long supported the controversial war and advocated a surge of U.S. troops long before President Bush did. Now he is linked to it, and his presidential fortunes could well depend on how things go in Baghdad.• Age. A touchy topic but one that already has sparked national discussion. McCain is 70 and, if elected, would take office as the oldest U.S. president. Watch for McCain, always known as a hard worker, to mount an active and vigorous campaign to head off any criticism of his stamina. On the plus side for McCain, anybody who highlights his age risks alienating older Americans.• Conservative skepticism. McCain actively courted centrist Republicans and Democrats and independents during his "maverick" 2000 campaign. He even dubbed top Religious Right leaders "agents of intolerance." As he tries to woo conservative primary voters this year, he will find that many don't trust him. McCain's continuing criticism of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and his push for comprehensive immigration reform keep the relationship tense.• He's a senator. The United States has elected only two sitting U.S. senators to the presidency: Warren Harding in 1920 and John F. Kennedy in 1960. One big reason is that senators usually have long records of votes that foes can pick apart and exploit. Ask John Kerry. And McCain's Capitol Hill voting record goes back more than 20 years.• Temperament. McCain acknowledges he has a temper but maintains critics have "exaggerated it far beyond reality." Still, his temperament came under scrutiny in 2000, and political opponents likely will try to use his reputation against him in 2008.
I picked John F. Kenney because he saved alot of people's live during World War 2. He was one of the most handsome president in the USA.
