1. An analysis of Rajender's character, strength and social outlook reveals that:

(i) He commands great respect and acceptance among his colleagues as a leader.

(ii) He is capable in his job and thus earned his well deserved promotion to the rank of foreman.

(iii) He has a flare to build rapport with people

Therefore, I feel that Rajendar might have sit and eat with his new colleagues in the department because he know that it is also an ideal opportunity to socialize and fit into the new group. He is aware that since his old colleagues will understand the situation and will not have any ill feeling by doing so. Since he has an outgoing nature he will not feel dejected and will capitalize on the new opportunity presented to build and cement the relationship with his new team.
