Buddhists don't pray. Prayer is a process of talking to a deity to ask for favours, changes in the rules of nature to improve one's lot, for protection, for the forgiveness of sins, etc. Buddhists have no deity and as a consequence have no need to pray. What happens happens. A person's path through life towards eventual enlightenment is their own doing
