The geocentric model, also known as the Ptolemaic system, held for over a thousand years. It was standardized by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy. Based on his model, the Earth was at the center of the universe and the sun and planets revolved around it. It was the accepted model up until the 1500's when Copernicus put forth is heliocentric model, one that placed the sun at the center and the planets in orbit or it.

Where did the theory of gravity come from?

Though astronomical observations and theories have been around for thousands of years, the coming together of knowledge that tied down the effects of gravity, is attributed to mainly newton and einstien, though a true explanation of gravity is still elusive.

Is there more then 1 universe?

That's not a question that can really be answered for sure right now. But being a scientist is about opening your mind up to things that sometimes just don't seem possible. It's always possible, but there is no hard evidence at this time to support the theory that there is more than 1 universe. To the contrary though, there is also no hard evidence that proves there is only 1 universe either.

Who was the philosopher who believed that the earth was the center of the universe?

Though many accepted the geocentric model of the universe, it was designed by the famous astronomer Ptolemy.

Are daleks real?

No. Dalek are a fictonal character in doctor who. But they are cool However, when it comes to quantum physics and the Multi-verse theory, there is a theory of endless possibilities. And the imagination can make those possibilities happen. In other words, if it can be imagined, in some universe out there, it exist. So the Daleks, in theory, can be real but tied to their own universe. Since it is impossible for us to travel though universes, we are most likely safe. However, the Daleks are an incredibly intelligent and aggressive species. Not to mention they are considered the master race in their universe since they defeated the Time Lords at the end of the Last Great Time War. It is possible for the Daleks, being as advanced as they are, to possibly be able to find a way to travel between universes and exterminate us all. But then again what do I know?

What is at the bottom of the solar system?

The universe has infinite shape and infinite size (though it is said (Einstein) that it has). So, it is shapeless as far as the human imagination is concerned.

Whose theory of the universe was law for thousands of years even though it was wrong?

could you re-phrase that? do you mean who came up with the initial theory of the universe and it's evolution? if so, to claim it was/is wrong is very relative. no matter how you look at it the universe is almost all theoretical Physics.

Whose theory of the universe was held as law for thousands of years even though the theory was eventually falsified?

I think you mean 'proved false'. To falsify means to deliberately deceive, as in 'falsifying a passport'. The theory is associated with Ptolemy.
