The snap ring broke off the D-G clutch drum inside the automatic transmission which operates reverse gear. The pistons in the clutch pack can not grab on to the drum to engage into gear. Transmission will need to be rebuilt with a new thicker D-G drum. Cost 3k to 4k.
I do not see the 2004 BMW 325i listed in aftermarket catalogs which suggests its a dealer-only part number. Since you have to go to the dealer, they can get you the correct parts.
I have a 1988 BMW 325I and the power windows stopped working all of a sudden after a starter was replaced. Any help would be highly appreciated. Respectfully Submitted, Mills
Sure, no reason to though. Vise Versa is a lot more practical. However, yes, an 88 can go into a 92. Anything before 96 can be messed around with because that's before emissions testing.
Where the coolant goes? That's the only place I could guess. Water is not supposed to be in any other place.
go to a BMW dealer bmws are technology marvels when it comes to electricity soo many electronics and fragile engine u need to get a BMW batt atleast if something happends u can blame them for the batt
in the top of the engine there is a cap with an oil can sign on it . Fill the oil in there. Be care not to over fill as it can cause the engine to cease!
You could go a BMW dealership, but that typically costs a good deal of money. In a lot of cases, a locksmith will be able to make a new key less expensively.
heres a link to a sketch i did...... it's a little crappy but you'll get the idea!!click link down bellow where it says drawing!!!AT
open your trunk-to the right side of your trunk you will see a green pull release lever that opens your gas flap-pull and you are good to go
Any dealership should take it. Check blue book & you can sell it to Car Max & use proceeds to buy anywhere which is even better.
go to a battery store
I added atf fluid right down the dip stick tube. be sure to add very small amounts at a time and keep checking the fluid level as you go.
