If you playback a quality recorded LP on a quality turntable and quality cartridge and off course high end amplifier with quality speakers, well the sound will be much more richer, deeper bass, realistic drum sounds to the original recording than if played back on CD with high end equipment also. The CD is much easier to use, no scratch or pops sounds but.......... to me, a vinyl recording sounds better than CD. Jean R
