Charles Babbage was a 19th century mathematician and inventor whose calculating machines earned him a top spot in the history of mechanical computing. Babbage's early career was devoted to practical applied science, particularly in manufacturing. But he is most famous for his work on what he called the Difference Engine and, later, the Analytical Engine. As early as 1822 he speculated that a machine could be used to compute complex mathematical problems and calculate and correct errors in logarithm tables and astronomical charts.
Babbage created one of the very first (mechanical) computers.
Charles Babbage, a British Mathematics professor, is regarded as the Father of Computers.

No he is not. Charles Babbage
Charles Babbage, a British mathematician and original thinker, was the inventor of the first mechanical computing machine, called the 'Difference Engine'. He has often been referred to, quite rightly, as the 'Pioneer of the computer'.

She help Charles Babbage with the inventions he created. These are seen as the origins of the modern computer. Charles Babbage is regarded as the father of computers. Ada Lovelace helped to create inputs and analyse the outputs of his machines. She is regarded as the first computer programmer and a language is named Ada in her honour.
