i had the same problem for a while with my Lanos. i found that it was a combinations of a.) fuel filter being dirty and b.) wrong size tires on the car (when i had taken it in for new tires the shop put tires on that were to big), even when i got the tires fixed i still had milage problems. low air pressure in your tires could also account for lost milage. so, if your tires are fine then check your filter, and vise versa. hope this helps. It could also be the Oxygen sensor (lambda ) these only last between 30,000 and 50,00 miles and can result in fuel consumption increasing as they get contaminated and start increasing the fuel mixture due to false readings
location of daewoo lanos fuel pump
Yes
No they can not.
change your grade of fuel ,that's what i did and all is good now .
12.4 gallons and your light should come on at 1.5 gallons
Fuel pump assembly is located inside the fuel tank. The access to it is under right rear seat.
it must be 4.2 bar direct from pump or regulated 3 bar
Fuel Pump! That's what happened to mine.
your fuel lines are blocked or filters dirty. but check you do have fuel first. seems silly but its the most common fault
La pompe a essence est sous le siège arrière coté passager </ H2>
There could be all the usual things like tune up, too hard driving conditions, underinflated tires, etc. However, i have a Lanos and it's really not good on gas for such a small car. I bought it new, and it always gave dissapointing gas mileage. Our Honda Civic gets like 10 more mpgs! So don't expect too much from Lanos.
It is located in the fuse box located in the fuse box under the hood on the left side of the vehicle.
