As evaporation cools the body the water in wet cloth evaporates and gives a cooling effect
Because it will feel a bit cool and pleasant.
They feel their forehead to determine if they have a fever. People with a fever feel hot. So if your forehead feels hot then you have a fever.
The evaporation of water from the cloth lowers the temperature of the cloth and thus hopefully by conduction the temperature of the person. Note that this method does not work in spaces with 100 % relative humidity.
Put a cold, wet cloth on your forehead or neck. Maybe eat a popsicle or something like that to cool you off, but otherwise you need to do a whole lot of nothing. Drinking cold water helps too.
Take acetomenophin (Tylenol), two tablets every four hours. You can also put the person in a tepid bath to help bring it down, since this will actually "cool" the body system. But if the fever goes over 102, then call the doctor. A sustained temperature over 102 can get quite serious rather quickly.
No; it is too high of a temperature.
no
What we measure by touching something is not an absolute temperature but merely a difference in temperatures and the difference is not noticeable when both hand and head belong to the same, high temperature person.
Well, is your forehead purple? No? Is it yellow? Yes? Well then, you have the yellow feaver.
Fever reducing meds and/or cold compress to back of neck or forehead.
Both aspirin and paracetamol reduce fever but aspirin should not be given to children under 12. Liquid paracetamol such as Calpol is recommended for young children. However since fever is a response to your body's immune system fighting bacteria or viruses there is some suggestion it is best not to try to reduce fever but only to reduce discomfort by applying a tepid damp cloth to the forehead to reduce a high temperature. If a baby has a high or persistent fever or fever is accompanied by listlessness, palour or quickened breathing you should see a doctor.
radiation as the fever passes through the body is it convection in the blood and fluids and conduction in the muscles??
I am not sure but I think yes because my baby sister's forehead is SO HOT ! It is a little bit of a fever though.
