When you are typing it is a finger recognizable marking to tell you where the F and J keys are for typing. It is for people who can type w/o looking that the keyboard, it makes you a faster typer by putting you pointer fingers on F and J and moving accordingly.
The f key on a keyboard is located between the d and g keys.
