Why Lg rd 3500 dose not power on by a charged battery but gets on by plug in charger?
rd 3500 low battery salution
It depends on the load it is under, the size of the engine, who made the engine (Honda, Tecumseh, Briggs & Stratton, etc) and I'm sure many other factors. We have 3500 watt Honda generators at work that will run 12 hours on a 2.5 gallon tank under light load (a single power tool and/or battery charger).
I know of one that went bad at 170,000 miles. Honda charged $3500 for replacement. Inside it's just about $500 worth of (high quality?) rechargable D cells. They keep the old one! There's something about the older IMA/BCM controllers that lets the batteries overcharge, heat up for shorter than expected lives.
2002-2006, the starter battery is under the hood on the driver side. The auxiliary battery (if equipped) is under the passenger seat. 2007-2010 the starter battery is under the driver side floor board. Pull the floor mats up and remove a panel to access. The auxiliary batter will be under the hood on the driver side.
It may not be your battery that is no good. It may be the starter. If it's not turning over then either it could be fried, one of the cables to the starter may be disconnected or one of the wires to the starter is corroded and your getting a short somewhere. My advice is if your vehicule is still under warranty bring it to the dealer if not don't go to Canadian Tire...go to…
