Michigan is a great place to live. =) I was born and raised here and i absolutely adore it! The houses are cheap and the schools are great. You can live in the country but be 10 minutes away from the city. Also, TONS of horse property (my favorite part). However, there are some things i don't like so much. The winters are dreadful. The warmest it gets in the winter is in the 30's. The coldest I've ever been in is -16. Also, the bugs are big, nasty things. Those dang MOSQUITOES! Oh, and if you see a horse fly, you'd better run! The June bugs don't really do anything, they're just huge pests. But don't get freaked out! The flaws aren't that big of a deal. The first time people come here they are in awe, silenced, mesmorized. The utter beauty is breath taking. And the towns, so quiet and quaint! The people, just good, hard-working, wonderful people! I really hoped this helped!
