The persons who normally write sacred text or advocate it, is usually inspired by a far more superior being to do so, so as to deliver the message to others. This superior being will normally be GOD. And if you are a believer in the message of this sacred text, you'll treat it with almost the same respect you'd have toward GOD himself, for fear of being cursed by GOD. No-one can help you against GOD's curse.

A sacred text should be treated with respect because it is considered divine or inspired by a higher power. It holds spiritual and moral significance for those who follow its teachings, and disrespecting it can be offensive or sacrilegious to believers. Respecting sacred texts also fosters understanding and harmony among different religious communities.
