Why am I always there for people when they are in need of support but when I need support nobody is ever there for me?
Why are you there ? Either you are a giving person or you want to be a rescuer or be involved in others lives. Why are they not there for you ? More than likely you have presented yourself as someone who helps others and the thought that you might need support sometimes doesn't occur to them. Having been the rock for most of my adult life, everyone assumes I'm bullet proof. That's just the cross some of us choose to bear. Also, you might just be helping the wrong sort of people. Some people simply have no clue what another person might be feeling or needing.
