The Amplification is much high during acmode because of transister conducts both

the Half cycles. But in DC the transister conducts only in positive half cycles. So the Amplification of AC signal greater than DC signal.

Is a stepper motor easier to maintain than a normal ac motor?

A stepper motor is more easier to maintain than a normal ac motor. Ac motor is a seal motor under pressure. A stepper can easliy be open and the interwheels can be fixed and cleaned.

Why not you use ac instead of dc to electronic components?

AC is easier and cheaper to send from the generators to the consumers than DC is.

What will happen when a single diode is connected to a transformer with ac signal?

it convert ac signal into dc signal But it will give only half-wave rectification.

What is the operation of a rectifier?

The operation of a rectifier is to conver a AC signal to a pulsating DC signal

Why is an AC current system used in a domestic electrical supply?

Alternating current (AC) is easier to transmit over long distances than is direct current (DC).

What is an AC source?

signal value changes with time

Is IC 555 can generates an Ac output signal?

no

Can transistor be used to increase the strength of an ac signal?

Yes, a transistor can amplifiy an a.c. signal.

Working of AC tachometer?

A ac tach usually works off the AC signal of the alternator on a bus or truck. The alternator produces AC power that is rectified to make DC current to run the car, truck or bus. There is a TACH terminal or in North American buses more than 10 years old it is called a stator tap. The AC voltage changes speed (frequency) with the engine and the Tachometer reads that as a signal Early or inexpensive ones are actually run on the AC current.

Am transmitter working principle?

even a single wire can tansmitam signal in which ac signal pass through it

Why you add a positive voltage to the ac signal to allow a transistor to amplify ac signal?

It depends on how you bias the transistor. If you ground the emitter, which is very common, you will need to offset the input signal so you can amplify the full voltage swing.
