loyalists get land posession from King george the third
No one can say for certain. John Adams estimate, made after the war and largely accepted today as the best educated guess, is that one third of colonists favored independence (ie, were "Patriots"), one third were loyalists ("tories"), and one third did not care one way or another and only hoped to be left alone. In particular areas tories were more numerous, and in other areas there were more Patriots.

During the American Revolution, there were three different groups: The Patriots were for the Revolution, the Loyalists were against the revolution, and the Neutralists didn't care. I don't know what fraction, but I bet the Loyalists took up a large portion of the people against the Revolution.
loyalists get land posession from King george the third
No. The usual thinking is that about one-third of the colonists supported independence, about one-third opposed it, and the other third had no strong opinion on the matter.
