Why are Jehovah's Witnesses so negative?

Hi, I am a Jehovah's witness and would like to try to answer your question for you. I'm not sure if you know someone who is a very negative person, or if you believe that all Jehovah's witnesses are negative, but really we are very happy people as a whole.

Of course everybody has their bad days and there are bound to be people in any religion who seem to have a negative attitude. But as Jehovah's Witnesses we have every reason to be happy and have a positive out-look on life because we have the hope of a paradise on earth, where there will no longer be and death, sickness, sadness, stress and violence.

We look forward to the fulfillment of scriptures such as Revelation 21:3,4 Psalms 37:10, 11 and John 5:28,29. Although there are many things in the news today that cause anybody stress and grief, we know it will not last forever. Jehovah God will put an end to the sadness and hurt we experience today.

But we still have many reasons to be happy, because we try to live our lives by bible standards and that promotes good family lives, good marital relationships, and good health. We enjoy life, and enjoy spending time with friends and family and in recreation. We believe in being nice, considerate and wholesome people.
