Not sure, I think it is because he is good looking and people are concerned with nationalized healthcare and a large deficit. Not sure if he is the best candidate, but I think he could be better (at least at these two things) then the guys in office.
a lot
Mitt Romney has a lot of business and political experience and thinks that he can improve the American economy.
all of them he had a lot of jobs, well, because know he's a businessman running for president
Considering that he is in favor of coal as an energy source, he doesn't seem to care about pollution or the environment a whole lot.
At this time it is unclear. Nobody clearly knows until that date get's closer and the plan's get clear. I would reask this in Mid September as the race gets really fired up. ROMNEY :) OBAMA :l
Theres no telling who will win but a good estimate is romney because obama only has the gays and mionrities on his side mitt romeny is looking a lot better because have'nt seen any thing obama promised
They are both men. Religious. But their governmental beliefs are completely different, they both stand forCivil Rights + Womens rightsLower TaxesHelp the poor (A lot of people say Mitt Romney wants to hurt civil rights, women's rights, and raise taxes on the poor. That isn't true.)DemocracyPeace in the Middle East (Romney DOES want to end the war, by keeping the troops in. Pulling troops out immediately doesn't end the war, the terrorists won't stop fighting if we leave, but many people believe he wants the troops to just stay fighting, again, not true.)Tax Cuts on the PoorStand for small business'That's just a few, Romney is alike Carter in the good ways, in the bad ways, not so much.
He was able to process a lot of conflict and frenzy and still be able to cut through the confusion and arrive at very powerful conclusions and recommendations and then see them through to their implementation"
This seems to be a position rather than a question, but yes, people who take orders easily can do a lot of damage. I think someone said it a little better as, "The most dangerous people are those who think that those who disagree with them are not only wrong, but criminal." I don't know if Romney is really in that category, but I guess we should try to find out. ----------------- One of the most central doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) is that of agency. Agency is an individual's right to choose and believe for themselves. Mormons do not believe that anyone has the right to tell another person what they should think, say, or do, and strongly emphasize that belonging to the church and obeying God's commandments should be based on a strong personal conviction obtained after much study and prayer. Every Mormon would reject the notion that they are told what to think, say, or do, because they all feel that they act as they do because of their personal convictions. If someone desires to leave or disobey the Mormon Church, they may do so with very little opposition. That is their personal choice, it is between them and God, and only God may be the judge of their actions. Most Mormons can see that Mitt Romney is not a perfect Mormon, and that he has done many things which are not in exact obedience to Church policy. Mitt Romney is capable of making his own decisions and doing as he pleases. His church has no right to dictate what he does, but he has a right to choose to obey the teachings of his church. He is a Mormon because he chooses to be, not because they are forcing him to be. Even Mormons think that Mitt Romney seems very robotic. This is just his personality, and it is unrelated to his faith. Many Mormons are very outgoing and personable, but Mitt Romney has a much more serious personality.
well a lot of other people have there own opinion on what the voting age should be but i think that the voting age should stay the same because... 1. kids need a break before they become an adult and have a lot of responsibility 2. even if the voting age was changed to 16 or lower, people would still not vote 3. kids/teenagers would just judge the people in the election by the little things and wont have a real reason to vote
These three amendments helped to expand democracy by eliminating a lot of the black peoples restrictions such as voting. So more people were able to vote and participate in the democratic voting.
He payed taxes just like a lot of other americans
