IF you are referring to oil based fuels,
THEN the answer is that the supply of oil is finite,
but demand for it is not.
The supply of solar energy is constant and infinite. Having solar panels on the roof of every home would save an unbelievable amount of Natural Resources and eliminate a lot of the polution caused by burning fossil fuels and also save the consumers a lot of money on their electric bills.

∙ 15y agoResources like oil are limited- they will run out. Alternative energy sources include things like-wind, which you can't run out of unless you take away air particles. We need unlimited energy sources- so we need alternative energy sources.

∙ 12y agoThey are important because we use coal right now and that emits carbon dioxide when it is burnt and it also causes acid rain, etc. We are also starting to run out of coal, too. So, everyone is trying to find another energy source that does not cause global warming, such as solar energy and wind energy.
