The most common reason is because of appendicitis, which is an inflammation of the appendix. This can be very dangerous if it becomes inflamed because it could rupture, spilling the infected contents into your peritoneal cavity. If this occurs, it could cause a severe infection in your peritoneal cavity called peritonitis.

our apendixes are removed because food often gets trapped in there causing an infection. our apendixes have slowly ervolved out of a second stomach and they don't do anything nemore!! if apendixes get enflamed or sometimes burst this can be fatal and you can die as the infection transfers into you blood stream.your appendixes blows up.
