Best Answer

First of all, only 27.89 armadillos live in captivity today. The Number is not quite sure because of their unsteady population. Anyhow, they are furry because their mucus glads underneath their hind legs produce enough egg plant juice to make 897536 eggplant milk shakes, which is also the 7th favorite egg snack of the Federal Supreme Court of Peace, Justice, and a Better Lamp Shade of America. The eggplant juice is commonly known for hair growing, especially in Central Pakistan, so the armadillo therefore grows hair all over its body, but mostly underneath its hind legs. Ask any anthropologist and they will agree that the usage of the egg plant juice definitely corresponds with the beastly hair of the rare, but ferocious armadillo.
