Well, for one bighorn sheep face sexual competition. Males usually battle each other in a brawl which decides which one gets to mate with the female. In these brawls there is usually an obvious winner when one starts smacking the other bighorn sheep in the face with his "bighorn" if you know what I am sayin' (wink wink).

There are several subspecies of the bighorn sheep. Ony one, the Sierra Bighorn is endangered, mainly because of loss of habitat.
