Biofuels are made from plant and organic material that is usually, at most, 6 months old, often younger. So biofuels are usually regarded as carbon neutral, that is, the plants absorbed carbon dioxide six months ago, and now, turned into biofuel and burnt, they release that same carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Fossil fuels like coal, oil, peat and natural gas release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere that has been trapped for millions of years. So fossil fuels are seriously adding to the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
If the biofuel is made from plant and wood wastes, and other organic material like animal manure that is good for the environment. If the biofuel is made from crops specially grown for the purpose, that is liable to mean less land is available to grow crops for food and so food prices go up which can cause hardship.
To help our environment because they are safer.
Ethanol is one of the biofuels, so it can't be better than itself.
That's a silly question, there not NEARLY the same. Get serious.

They try to experiment I see what can be used as fuel and how it could possibly affect the environment.
Biofuels are fuel made from any plant or animal based products. Two traditional biofuels are wood and corn. Biofuels are renewable sources of energy.
SG Biofuels was created in 2007.
Growing plants for biofuels is expensive
Growing plants for biofuels is expensive
Because we use valuable land that could be used to produce food. Or we cut down trees that are very important to the environment.
Because they are a renewable source of energy such as solar energy and other different biofuels. They release carbon dioxide that was recently taken from the air, so they are part of the carbon cycle, unlike fossil fuels that add age-old carbon to the greenhouse gases.
No, they are not. Because biofuels are usually made out of vegtables as they are biodegradable.
