citrus trees dont really like alot of water, they do well if you let the dirt dry a little (but not bone dry). The leaves might cruel because to much water or to little water. You are more likely to kill it by over watering it, then by letting the soil dry a little. Remember citrus trees are native to warmer temperatures, so keep that in mind. AND please do some research before doing something like growing a tree, it helps if you make it a habit.
