Your statement is too sweeping, Lions are cats and they live and hunt in family groups called 'prides'. However, most other cats are solitary hunters and therefore avoid one another so as not to compete for food and therefore with one another (they are too well armed with claws and teeth to fight each other). Canines on the other hand, like Lions, have developed a group hunting strategy which means that they need to live in packs. Pack living requires a pecking order and social rules in order to avoid internal conflicts. This makes dogs more sociable and responsive to humans.
It is also interesting to note that not all canines are sociable, the Fox family lives a more solitary life and individuals avoid one another except for individual mating pairs.
Yes, dogs are more sociable than cats, in general. In a natural state (as compared to being a pet) dogs hunt in packs, and cats hunt alone. This results in a general tendency for dogs to seek company, and for cats to largely avoid it. But also note that individual animals do have their own personalities, and not all dogs or cats are typical of their species.
One of the obvious contrasts between dogs and cats is that cats are much more independent than dogs. Dogs are more codependent, which results in them being slightly more needy but also infinitely more easy to train.
mostly because there are more unwanted cats than unwanted dogs and I don't know why, but people more take notice of stray dogs than cats, so there are more unwanted cats.
cats will have more memory than adog if dogs will have 5-7minutes of memory where as cats will have 16minutes of memory

Cats and dogs have a more recent common ancestor in evolutionary history compared to cats and hamsters. This means that they have had less time for genetic differences to accumulate, resulting in more similar DNA between cats and dogs than cats and hamsters.
I think that cats are more than dogs because if someone knocks on the door some dogs bark at it, but cats don't really care they will stay where they are.

Dogs come in more of a variety of sizes than cats but cats can come in more colours than dogs. They have very different diets, contrary to most beliefs, a dog can eat more plants than a cat can. Dogs also have a keener sense or smell than cats but cats radius of vision is 285 degrees and a dogs is only 250 degrees. :D
