because of the volcanoes...nd the plates in the earth always move and shift
Some places are heavily affected by earthquakes because they sit on or near a fault line. Christchurch, for example, sits near a fault line and is why it has frequent and strong earthquakes but practically everywhere in Australia is nowhere near a fault line so we get very littleearthquakes.
I am not so sure but i think its volcanoes and earthquakes.
Earthquakes can occur nearly anywhere. However, states which are on or near major plate boundaries have very frequent, usually small earthquakes... these would include California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Nevada, Utah, Hawaii, and Arizona also experience frequent quakes, and there are more than you might expect in Missouri and Arkansas. The United States Geological Survey maintains a nearly real-time quake map on their website (in the related links section) if you're interested in seeing where there have been earthquakes in the past week or so. Alaska has the most earthquakes per year, around 12,000. California has the second most earthquakes per year, around 10,000. Hawaii has the third most earthquakes per year, around 8,000.
This is a tough question to answer because earthquakes occur in so many places all over the world. They are generally recorded by magnitute, death tolls, and frequency for each country, but I was unable to find a list that compiled all of the data together. Mexico is actually a country, and the other countries are small, so they're considered as Central America. And it is considered to be part of Central America. It's actually not a part of Central America, and Mexico is in the middle with other countries so it's called Middle America.

Central America connects North and South America.
Costa Rica is located in Central America, not South America. It is not the smallest country in Central America, either. The smallest country in Central America is El Salvador, and the smallest in South America is Suriname.

Yes. The term Latin America refers to regions where the dominant languages are Spanish and Portuguese. So it would include Mexico, Central America, and South America, regardless of the language spoken in the country.
