Fats help you warm up and not get injured easily. It holds up your cushion and not let your body get slopped down like a slug. When it is winter, your fats help you stay warm and cozy. If you didn't have any fat, which is probably impossible, well, you would freeze easily and when you want to run or even walk, you will fall down, break your bone, or get injured badly if it wasn't for fat.
