Why are females so hard to understand?

Perspective from a male user:They think differently, they brains are different anatomically. Males think logically, females think emotionally and their decisions are dictated by their emotions. If they say I love you in January, then they may say I don't love you in March, their decisions are not constant.

In November, 2015, Science Magazine published an article about the male and female brain. It explained that with modern technology, they were able to do many series of brain scan to study gender differences, and the outcome was that the physical brains between males and females are essentially the same, meaning there really is no such thing as the male and female brain. However, hormones are still a factor to some degree. Hormones can sometimes make a woman feel moody, but this is only for a day or two here and there. It can't be used as an overall excuse, most of the time.

Most studies now agree that differences in male and female behavior comes down to the individual, and the influences that society has put on them. Females are often told from a very young age that they are expected to act a certain way, and that certain things are expected from them. Because of stereotypes, some men just assume a woman is PMSing or being emotional, and dismiss her when she disagrees with them. Being dismissed is likely to make anyone angry, male or female.

Often it is a two sided problem. Women are sometimes hard to understand because they are often taught from a young age that they are supposed to be involved in drama or play mind games or be mysterious. Men add to the problem when they tend to blow them off as emotional and don't listen. It all turns into a big snowball.

It is also an issue when it is assumed that all women are so hard to understand. There are plenty of women out there that are straight forward, logical, and rational. There are also some men out there that can be moody and emotional. Lumping everyone of one gender into a group will make it very difficult to understand anyone as an individual.
