They are imporatant for camouflage, but they still get attacked by lions and hyenas. I is possible for a giraffe to kill a lion, to get them off they kick hard, which can be fatal in some cases.

They have spots on their fur for camouflage purposes therefore when they are searching for prey they will be virtually invisible! The yellow hides their legs in long grasses and the brown blends in with the tall trees. :)

Well Giraffes live in parts of the world that have Savannah in them so they are trying to blend into the Savannah to hide from predators trying to eat them.
