I don't think so. it's depends on how the maps made .
the people who made it. some are accurate or not ..
so it's not so important.
when it comes globs . it's the same reason
Because the earth is round(ish). Copying the features of a round surface onto a flat surface introduces distortions. You can try it out with an orange, peel it and try making the peels into a flat square. Not possible, you get gaps and holes. On maps we don't have gaps (but we should have) instead the image is stretched to cover the square area.Because you could actually see the waterways and continents much better. It is more realistic.
well if Walmart made it it probably sucks . doesn't matter if it's flat, round, or square.
In your face! I want to kill you. Your bath is huge!
A map is a two-dimensional representation of the Earth's surface, while a globe is a three-dimensional model of the Earth. Maps can be easily folded and transported, while globes are not portable. Maps can show a larger area, such as an entire country or continent, while globes provide a more accurate depiction of the Earthβs shape and size. Maps can be customized and have specific projections, while globes provide a more accurate representation of distances and directions. Maps can be updated and revised easily, while globes are static and do not change.
It is to do with the scale used on the maps and globes.
Because as humans have explored the world more and more maps are getting more and more accurate.
Globes usually depict reality. Maps usually have some distortion to them.
It is impossible for a flat map to be as accurate as a globe. The Earth is round and only a round globe can put things in the correct perspective.
Globes are much more realistic and accurate than flat maps.
Maps and globes are both tools used to represent the Earth's surface. Maps are two-dimensional representations while globes are three-dimensional. Maps can provide more detailed information and are easier to carry around, while globes offer a more accurate depiction of the Earth's shape and are better for understanding distances and spatial relationships.

Maps are typically more informative than globes because they can display larger areas in greater detail. Maps can show specific information such as roads, cities, and topographical features more clearly than globes, which can sometimes distort the shapes of land masses and distances. Additionally, maps can be updated more easily with current information than globes can.
Globes were invented as a way to represent the Earth in a spherical form for navigational and educational purposes. They provide a more accurate representation of the Earth's surface compared to flat maps, allowing people to better understand the planet's geography and spatial relationships.
maps are less accurate because on a globe, you can like feel the mountains and a globe is 3D and a map is not
It is to do with the scale used on the maps and globes.
because they show more detail
because globes just show the conatents and maps show routs and ways to go
Globes are important because they provide a more accurate representation of the Earth's shape and geography compared to flat maps. They also help demonstrate the concept of Earth as a three-dimensional sphere, which aids in understanding global relationships and distances. Globes are particularly useful in education for teaching geography and navigation.

Globes will give a more accurate representation.
